Cheney said that after he was accepted as the Republican nomination for vice president He was excited about working alongside a President who will work across the political aisle in order to accomplish his goals. He will collaborate with opponents with good faith. Richard Bruce Cheney is the son Richard Herbert Cheney of the late Marjorie Lauraine Dickey. He was born on January 30, 1941 in Lincoln Nebraska. In the age of thirteen, Richard moved his family across Nebraska, eventually moving to Casper which was where his dad worked as director of the U.S. Department of Agriculture local soil conservancy district.
